I'd expect much more with the word "Protect", where is the protection when anyone can delete or damage the vault. In reality, it doesn't protect but hides. SanDisk mentions "safeguard your personal files, Protects Personal Data and Sensitive Business Files.". With the issues mentioned above, I can only say the SecureAccess utility is good to hide files but not to protect them. Just the name shows up but these files can not be opened or moved out as the actual file in the vault was deleted.

If the files are deleted from windows explorer, the files still show up in the SecureAccess interface. So anyone having access to the drive can knowingly or unkonwingly delete vaults thinking they are a set of corrupted files.ģ. The vault itself or the files within vault can be deleted from normal windows explorer and you will never know that you had a vault there.
